It is the only example of contemporary architecture that we can find in the town. It was designed by the architects Rock Gantxegi and Eduardo Mangada in 1970.
The combination of materials of different colours is the main feature of the building, especially the red of the brick alongside the dark grey slate of the tile roofs. Nevertheless, we cannot ignore the presence of the glass, with continuous horizontal windows that illuminate the indoor spaces used for education purposes.
In spite of everything, it continues with the typology of schools distributed around a central courtyard, emphasizing the central wing, raised on the base of a large column that supports the roof and the main staircase at the entrance, surrounded by outer columns. Thus, it leaves a large, free space for holding practical functions.
