An eclectic building constructed for the Marquess de Foronda as a summer house, it is nowadays a cultural centre. Designed by Juan Jose Gurrutxaga, a municipal architect from Eibar, who nevertheless has an important building in San Sebastián (the Palace of Justice). It reflects the somewhat pretentious tastes of the nobility who wanted an imitation medieval castle, which is clear in areas like the battlements, small towers, sandstone cornerstones, etc.
