San Telmo ermita
Chapel of San Telmo

The first historical mention of the chapel is in 1540, although the construction does denote some style.

The interior must be mentioned, of such a popular beauty that it was not repeated in any chapel in the town. It was surely reformed in the 17th century, when the Brotherhood of Merchants was formed, dedicated to San Telmo.

The altarpiece is from the 18th century; it has no gilding and we can appreciate the Rococo decoration, to the detriment of the free-standing sculpture, which is reduced to small statues.

The images of James and Saint Clara on the sides were done when the town was sold the chapels, whose incumbents were the saints.
